Artificial Intelligence, AI, has been hyped as the most important technology advance since the smart phone, the internet, or even the printing press. The hype is real.
When ChatGPT launched in November 2022, AI hit an inflection point, and it has snowballed into a revolution. AI models, tools, and applications are getting more powerful and more useful at a rapid pace.
As AI improves, it automates and accelerates greater shares of human work and creativity. AI is improving how we work, accelerating science, and disrupting industries and job roles.
The AI revolution has just started. AI will advance to achieve human-level AGI by the end of this decade, enabling pervasive automation across many human tasks. And it won’t stop there. AI changes everything.

About the Author
I have a PhD in Computer Science and have had a career of over 30 years in technology, working in software development, machine learning, and data science, in various technical and leadership roles from technical lead to VP of Engineering and CTO.
I have been interested in AI for over 40 years and worked on machine learning for a number of years, but the “ChatGPT moment” inspired me both to go all in on AI and share what knowledge I could with others, to prepare us for the AI wave.
With my background and love for AI research and AI technology and software, I’ll share insight and understanding on AI research as well as new AI products and the business and policies aspects of AI as well. I will cut through hype as much as possible to give you an informed perspective.
My aim is to help you understand, whatever your level of prior understanding. I will do my best to help get you up to speed and feed meaningful AI updates.
