Outstanding article sir. Along the lines of some of schepis work, but more detailed, more facts, and thorough analysis.

We appreciate your effort and the high quality of your work.

I look forward to your success.

We need legislation before someone invents an AI of things connected to weapons. Like drones for instance.

Weaponization of AI should be illegal. Unethical AI should be illegal.

This pace, the change in weapons, the integration of AI and weapon, means less people with more power than we will be able to destroy more than ever.

We should be writing laws right now that make it a war crime to use AI in combat

I'm a veteran. You do not want me to have an AI assisted, face recognizing, weapon that fires a bullet that is integrated with my eyes, weapon, and projectile and sensor suite

It will find your face, heat signature, and heartbeat.

Even your breath will give you away to the sensors suite my AI will grant me. Every electromagnetic source, a target for auto seekers. Fire and forget smart bullets.

This future battlefield is not far off. Note the Ukrainian use of AI in drone control for swarm and hive behavior. This is just the beginning. Enders game.

It's so much more personal than a cruise missile, and I can make thousands of drones for the price of one missile. And control them without fail.

Try jamming an AI combat mesh and you'll waste your time.

Long wave, high frequency switchen antenna, like those used to talk to subs, gives a range of worldwide coverage..

Cheap.

Weapons you can't imagine are on the verge of being created today

Legislate now. Choose AI as symbiont or virus.

Too late. There already are AI-enabled drones.

"This future battlefield is not far off. " This is true. the drones are cheap and will be very capable. Every bomb will be a smart bomb. War will become high-precision.

I don't think banning AI weapons will work. We can ban them in the US, and then China or some other enemy builds them and beats us? Ukraine would have lost their war by now if it hadn't been for drones, so are you sure you'd want to deny a technology that could help the 'right' side win? AI in war raises many ethical questions and concerns, for sure.

I cannot argue this sir.

Duty. Is. To. Nation. And I trust my nation to both win and use both wisdom and caution in doing so.

Pandoras box is opened as you noted. I suppose going into this with a winning attitude is going to be the best choice

As a Veteran, id rather die than start a war. But if called on again, I will finish it

Thanks for the wisdom. Embrace the future and let us both ensure the best for our nations.

Gonna be crazy fast though. An AI, can modulate long wave, high energy, frequency hopping weapons like you or I compose a symphony.

Elon Musk posted an article in the Economist about high energy particles, killer electrons, creating lightening from the ionosphere to target nuclear warheads or satellite. 9/10. Check it out.

Weapons of the now and weapons to come. We must remember the tool for peace they can be if we so choose
